Today was quite fun first time try out at the retail storefront many asked me why i wanan take up this job when i got a degree.. i feel how much you have studied does not really matter its about being happy and for me to be able to meet diff people in a day is a fun experience yes we do experience wierd pple but its all part of life and i really don like the kind of stay in office and do paper work life neither do i like just handling calls...i prefer to be on the move and have flexible working hours. yes it might be tiring but i think its part of life expeience its not like everyday life u can do somthing like this.
I really tot so untill recently some friends gave me feedback haha i tot they jus throw away the link after i gave them ^^ at least someone wanan know how i'm getting and whether i'm still alive haha it's good to know that someone wants u to be alive 0.o
I end this post with a crappy video i did for my shakespeare project last term.
Was on my way to catch da movie "re-cycle" we got there about 11.20 the movie was 11.45 but we queue for like 15 mins cos some commotion was going on in the end we were late for the movie as there was some technical error in one movie theater and the custoemrs were complaining and demanding for a tix refund. thus the long queue that cos us to miss out movie for like 15 mins so we decide to claim for a change of movie cos its unfair that we missed the first 15 mins due to the long queue. there was alot of commotion going on hear from one guy that there was prob with the sound system while the movie played they cant hear the sound and they tried to complain but was replaced with a later movie timing but the same prob persisted. the orginal movie tming that he watched was 8.30pm but i guess he was pushed back due to the prob to 11 plus show! 0.0 the wonder he was so damn pissed and demanded for moive tic refund look at the crowd this is only a part of it there was more but i didn;t dare to take too much i don wanna be beaten up XD anyway cos their techincal prob has inevitably caused us to miss 15 mins of our show, we got a replacement for pirates of the carribean instead and plus 2 free movie voucher! ^o^ yeah! - i.e. i can watch 3 movie!
Went for CG overdrive from 14-16 July. It was quite cool looking at the works from renowed artists and new comers the seminars were interesting as we were introduced to the making and process thoughts for movies such as stars wars, wars of the world, pirates of the carribean, x-men 3, onimusa 3 gameplay, etc. Speaker from bluesky XD his talk was kinda techincal for me as i'm not knowledge in the dynamics of modelling etc a small corner to showcase some CG movie i nv got a chance to sit down to watch or rather i was too lonely and feel wierd to sit alone n stare at the screen XD nobody wanna join the event with me! cos they weren't interested in CG. Cool how i wish i studied 3d animation XD Generally i find that most U.S companies are looking for generalists who can not only do modelling but also others skills. (in hokkein wat we call bao ka liao) and japanese company are generally looking more at specialists. i guess you have to be both to be really good - to be good in something yet able to do other things too ^^ But some how i find japanese company though they may really high standard in gaming experience and graphics but as employees i find they do not really treat them well?? not sure but just find the japanese pple work too much and don really enjoy life life is not jus about working and producing stuffs cos at the end u cant bring all these with you american companies like bluesky, pixar, etc are quite fun and i'm generally more impressed by their management. I feel this kind of industry you need to let your employees to be free and create a creative environemnt at the same time not undermining the meaning of life to individuals - I.e. don work yourself to death cos nobody will credit u. I only managed to speak to the CEO of infinite frameworks and i'm quite impress with her personality, she is a fun and interesting person ^^. as for the other companies present i only spoke with the recruiting assistant or some other assistant and they were quite rude probably cos they feel my porfolio was like crap haha hey give me a chance i'm still improving its not everyday that a biz grad can also have such extensive porfolio XD oh to end this post i present you an apple that had suffered serious injury
Arggh saw this dress while i went shopping with meiling at mng at marina it looks vy clownly cos there's polka dots and jus look abit clownish so i tot its fun to try it on hehe but it turns out quite cute i kinda like it!!! but wat the hell its S$129!!! its jus a simple dress not that the material is excellent..but cos its frm mng so its 100 over 0.0 wat the hell i wish i own a famous brand XD I like the ribbon like thing on the shoulder X| can someone buy for me!!!! plssss!!!
